Providing Life-Saving Children’s Psychiatric Care
KVC Hospitals Wichita helps youth ages 6 to 18 who are experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, the impacts of trauma, and other behavioral and mental health challenges. Our inpatient acute treatment provides a modern, safe, and child-friendly environment that encourages positive interactions and creativity with 24-hour supervision. We accept Kansas and Missouri Medicaid plans and most private insurance plans.

Helping Kids and Families Heal
While receiving treatment at KVC, youth learn how to identify and control their emotions in our unique experiential learning centers while engaging in interactive activities such as virtual reality. Recreation features include a gym and indoor and outdoor activity spaces to allow kids to be kids while receiving treatment. We also provide private visitation rooms for family therapy, visits and evaluations. For those unable to travel, secure tele-video is available.
