Holiday Heroes Bring Joy to Youth Receiving Psychiatric Treatment
During the 2017 holiday season, generous individuals and organizations supported youth receiving psychiatric treatment at KVC Hospitals by becoming Holiday Heroes and donating gifts. This year, these Holiday Heroes provided gifts and cheer to 120 children and adolescents. Games, blankets, toys and other gifts were donated to help ensure our clients were able to enjoy the holidays and to make joyous memories together.
KVC Hospitals offers inpatient acute and residential psychiatric treatment at our two locations; KVC Prairie Ridge Hosptial Kansas City, Kan., and KVC Wheatland Hosptial in Hays, Kan. Our hospitals offer relief to children and adolescents who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts and feelings of violence.
